It occurred to me here in the wee hours of the morning of a potential ad that could be used against Harper, the script looks something like this:

(black screen)
(ominous chord from piano)
(all speech is in VO – presented in an ominous voice)
(photo of Joseph Stalin fades in)

VO:Joseph Stalin belived in building prisons, lots of them
(pause)
(cross fade to photo of Stephen Harper)

VO:So does Stephen Harper
(flash text on screen: Globe and Mail 16 October 2009)
(fade to black)
(fade in photo of Muammar Gaddafi as quarter panel)

VO:Muammar Gaddafi and
(fade in photo of Kim Jung-Il as quarter panel)

VO:Kim Jung-Il call their opponents terrorists and traitors
(cross fade to photo of Stephen Harper)
(flash text on screen:Canwest 03 December 2008)

(fade to black)
(fade in photo of Benito Mussolini)

VO:Benito Mussolini thought elections were unnecessary
(cross fade to photo of Stephen Harper)

VO:So does Stephen Harper
(flash text onto screen:06 August 2010)
(flash text onto screen:Postmedia 15 March 2011)
(flash text onto screen:Postmedia 23 March 2011)
(keep flashing various sources /dates he's said this until the screen fills)

At this point it could end one of three ways:

Ending 1:
(fade in photo of Stephen Harper with other dictator photos swirling around him)
VO:If you know a man by the company he keeps (pause)
VO:What does this say about Stephen Harper?

Ending 2:
VO:So when Stephen Harper says "unnecessary election", what does he REALLY mean?

Ending 3:
VO:What is Stephen Harper's real vision for Canada?

So what do you think? Too over the top?
