Seeing people quote Levant's Rebel as a news source is both amusing and scary. As a news source it's on the level of the Weekly World News. A little background.
I went to university with Ezra (whether or not he remembers this I don't know, but he blocked me on Twitter and I've never interacted with him once there). Even back then everyone knew that if he gave you the time of day you'd require independent verification of that. Heck it was funny as hell watching his own sister's eyes roll into the back of her head any time he opened his mouth. Ironically Ezra is a master of Goebbels' Big Lie. Take a whopper, wrap it in a thin veneer of truth, then yell it from the rooftops. He makes his living selling these lies to the gullible who desperately want their confirmation bias fed.
So if you're quoting from the Rebel, you've pretty much already lost the argument because you're quoting material that's been fabricated and spun to feed your ego and line Ezra's pockets.
Now I'm certain that I'm going to get "but the MSM..." responses. Yes the MSM has biases, but compared to "news" sources that constantly give you what you want to hear, that bias dissolves into irrelevancy.
