Where do people dig this stuff up?

I received the same email this morning and I am, in the words of the British, totally gobsmacked by the claptrap that gets circulated on the 'net. I did about an hour's research and, like you, could find no basis in fact to support the claims made in this offensive piece of garbage .... and the Sept. '07 broadcast by Mr. Allen was offensive enough!

In the course of researching this email, I came across a mind-boggling number of forums (what the heck is the plural of forum, anyway?) that are still discussing the Canadian National Anthem being sung in Hindi and who accept as gospel truth the idea that this has been proposed and that Mr. Allen has, righteously, ranted against it.

So I am replying to the sender of the email, and all who were copied on it, with the facts I found and am now pondering where else I should send my thoughts - this is as good a place as any to start and I thank you for at least being a voice of sanity on the web (perhaps the only one :-(
