Chickenhawks strike again. Last Saturday Michael Coren opened his word processor and came up with this piece of utter drivel. Apparently the fact that a young woman had the intestinal fortitude to do a job that Coren isn't brave enough to do himself is making him uncomfortable. What's the matter Michael, feeling less a man because of that?
ExpectingThough people I have day to day interaction with probably already know this, but it is time for the general announcement. Mrs. Evil and I are expecting a baby boy come September. We know it's a boy since we've recently received the results of the amniocentesis. New and exciting things to come!
Jason is done his essay! Well almost, just some editing of the last two paragraphs... but for the most part done!!!!
On town halls.Last week US President Barack Obama held an internet town hall. Interesting, as this reaching out to the people is the complete opposite of how the previous administration acted. It is also the opposite of how our current governing party acts. Can you imagine our media-phobic PM doing the same? I think it would be highly unlikely that Stephen Harper would do such a thing. However I envision that it would go something like this:
Paper hell.Well I've been busy working on a paper so haven't had much time to write about other things. The paper's due this Friday and I'm almost done so whew. Just a reminder to those of you reading this on Facebook that this is the last day my account will be active and if you want to keep in touch you'll have to either email me or contact me here at www.evilscientist.ca.
Jason is resting after a day out in VictoriaA trip to the wax museum, undersea gardens and miniature world capped off with tea at the Empress. A walk along the inner harbour, supper and a further walk along the harbour. All in all a busy day.
Vacation bloggingAs my inaugural post in this topic, I'm announcing that I'm currently on vacation in Victoria. This means a couple of things. First I'm missing the snow in Calgary (well perhaps missing is to strong a term) and second I'm avoiding school work.
New Topic Here at EvilnessIn my continuing disengagement from Facebook, I've created a new topic here at Evilness. Crunchy Toast will contain things of a personal nature such as what I'm up to and so on. That leaves this topic free for my political and other musings of a more deeper nature. This also means that those of you watching this on various political aggregators won't have to put up with my non-political, I had toast, it was crunchy posts (unless you want to or are looking at NDP online which for some reason is picking up the whole site feed). |
